Frank O'Brien
Owner and President
Francis X. O'Brien is the President and Owner of Wilbraham Funeral Home. Frank is very active in the community, sponsoring two teams in the former Wilbraham baseball League. He coaches hockey and soccer, for area youth teams. He is the only Certified Preplanned Funeral Consultant in Western Massachusetts. Frank received his BA from Saint Anselm College and his Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from New England Institute.

Ellen O'Brien
Vice President, Licensed Funeral Director
Ellen O'Brien is Vice President of Wilbraham Funeral Home and serves as the Director of Prearrangement Services. Ellen applies her funeral service counseling and preplanning expertise to provide excellent burial, preplanning, and cremation services to the community. A licensed funeral director and embalmer, she holds a National Board Certificate. An active member of the community, she is a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church, serves as a Board Member and Secretary for Wilbraham Council on Aging, is a member of the Wilbraham Public Library Endowment Fund Committee, and is an honorary member of the Wilbraham Rotary Club. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from the Elms College, and an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from New England Institute.

Steven M. Gould
Lead Funeral Director and Embalmer

Lori Callahan
Licensed Funeral Director, Office Manager
Lori (Green) Callahan, a lifelong resident of Wilbraham, attended local schools and graduated from Wilbraham & Monson Academy. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Michael’s College, VT and an Associate’s degree in Mortuary Science from North Shore Community College in Danvers, MA. An active communicant of St. Cecilia Church, Lori volunteers for their youth programs and serves as co-director of their annual Christmas Pageant. She is also a former girls’ lacrosse coach at Minnechaug Regional High School and is a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of MA. She resides in Wilbraham with her husband David and their three children; Jack, Lilly and Bridget.

Lori Callahan

Kristen Russell May
Director of Advance Planning
Kristen was born and raised in Charlton, MA and graduated from Marianhill Central Catholic High School. After high school, she attended Mount Ida College, graduating in 1991 and started her career in funeral service. Kristen has worked for over 30 years at several funeral homes in Worcester County. She has dedicated her life to serving families in their time of need and has taken great pride in her work.
After over 30 years as a licensed funeral director and embalmer, Kristen decided to shift her focus to serving families before their time of need. As an advanced planning specialist, she enjoys going out to the community and educating people about the benefits of preplanning funerals. She is knowledgeable about the rules and laws that are associated with the preplanning process.
Kristen lives in Charlton with her husband James, two sons Luke & Joshua and German Shepard, Ginger. She loves attending her son’s hockey games, gardening and spending time with her family.
