Obituary

Virginia M. (Choux) Kibbe, 78, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Born in Springfield to the late Ferdinand and Elsie (Blood) Choux, she worked at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co. for 21 years until her retirement in 1997. She is survived by her beloved husband Ronald W. Kibbe, Sr., her children: Gary Freniere, Jr. and his wife Diane of Delaware and Deborah Dostal and her husband Jeffrey of Brimfield, stepchildren: Ronald Kibbe, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Springfield, Jessica Periere of Palmer and Jennifer Ennis of Maryland, sisters: Louise Stevens  and her husband Everett of St. Petersburg, FL and Priscilla Palmer and her husband Daniel of NC, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her stepson Randall Kibbe. Visitation will be held on Wednesday beginning at 10 AM and concluding with a Funeral Service at 11 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
