Joseph P. Mussi, 77, died peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2021 at home watching the New York Mets vs. Yankees game. Born in New York City to the late John and Rose (Zanellotti) Mussi, he worked as a sanitation engineer for the City of New York for over 40 years until his retirement. Joe was a faithful communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary F. (Langone) Mussi in 2019. He is survived by his daughter Annemarie Mussi of St. Charles, IL, his sister Catherine Grono of Wilbraham, one niece; Jennifer L. Nordstrom, two nephews; Walter and Richard Grono, 12 great nieces and nephews and his granddogs Smoochie, Vinny and Enzo. Joe’s Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 18th at 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham.
