Jeffrey A. Warner, 61, died peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021, surrounded by family at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, he was a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School. He worked as a Service Manager in the transportation industry for many years until his retirement. Jeff was active in the Boy Scouts, a proud hockey coach for WTM, and an avid outdoorsman and golfer. He enjoyed riding snowmobiles, quads, motorcycles, as well as boating, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and anything that involved having a good time with friends and family. His dedication to his family led him to serve as an Executive Committee member for the Samuel E. Warner Association for many years and Vice President since 2003. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him will remember him as a caring, passionate, and fun-loving man. Jeff always wanted to make everyone around him laugh and smile with plenty of jokes and many “Jeffisms."
Jeff is survived by his wife, Darlene (Rogers) Warner; his father, Charles E. Warner of Southwick; his children: Samuel Warner and wife, Kelsey Wilbur, of Braintree, Elizabeth Godin and husband, Cody, of Wilbraham, and Emily Warner and fiance, Timothy Savage, of Monson; two beloved grandchildren: Owen Godin and Grace Savage; stepsons Timothy Rogers Jr. and wife, Jillian, of Southampton and Christopher Rogers and fiance, Aidan Gillis, of Ayer, MA; siblings Gregory Warner and wife, Noreen, of Feeding Hills and Beth Murphy and husband, Stephen, of Westfield along with several nieces and nephews, and his beloved Golden Retriever, Morgan. Jeff is predeceased by his mother, Norma (Cushing) Warner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29th, from 4-7 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Family and friends may meet for Jeff's Memorial Service on Friday at 11 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home. Jeff's Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 4th at 1:00 PM in Glendale Cemetery, Wilbraham (cemetery is located at the corner of Glendale and Monson Roads in Wilbraham.
