Obituary

Eileen (Flynn) Worthing, 95, died peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022 in West Springfield. Eileen has united with the love of her life John, married for over 70 years, who predeceased her in January of 2021. She was born to the late Thomas and Catherine (Hadlock) Flynn in West Springfield on April 26, 1926. She graduated from Westfield State Teacher’s College and taught math and science in the Springfield area for thirty-three years.

Now Eileen and John will continue their travels together with Wing and Feather.

At Eileen’s request, services were private and held at the convenience of the family in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield. Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
