Dorothy R. (Favreau) Corriveau, 88, died peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020. Born in Springfield to the late Arthur and Rosanna (Boucher) Favreau, she was a longtime Wilbraham resident of 70 years. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Oaks Farm on Stony Hill Road in Wilbraham. She also worked in the cafeteria at the Wilbraham Middle School for 11 years. Dorothy was a faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church in Ludlow and an active volunteer. She was one of the “Frozen Chosen” who helped make meat pies for the annual fundraiser. An avid reader, Dorothy had an infectious smile. She enjoyed going to flea markets, gardening, spending time with family and knitting slippers which she donated for cancer patients. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years Raymond R. Corriveau in 2013. Dorothy is survived by her three children: Richard R. Corriveau and his wife Alison of Punta Gorda, FL, Ronald R. Corriveau and his wife Elaine of Feeding Hills and her daughter Corrinne Mercier of Ludlow, five grandchildren; Nicole, Jamie, Randy, Benjamin and Mario and four great grandchildren: Madison, Evan, Charlotte and Lydia. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was also predeceased by her brother Armand Favreau and her sisters: Marie Lieber, Alice Low, Alma McCreanor and Theresa Gallup. Family and friends may meet for Dorothy’s Graveside Service on Saturday, December 19th at 12:00 Noon at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth’s Church, 181 Hubbard St., Ludlow, MA 01056.
