Obituary
William F. O’Shaughnessy, 85, died peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2019. Born in Springfield to the late Patrick and Catherine (Killilea) O’Shaughnessy, he was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was a Machinist for Package Machinery in East Longmeadow for more than 40 years until his retirement. A member of the American Legion and ITAM in Springfield, he was an avid motorcyclist and loved his Harley Davidson. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Tebaldi) O’Shaughnessy, brother Edward O’Shaughnessy, sisters: Peggy Amato, Maureen Wdowiak, Kathleen Asteriades and Patricia Serra, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Gerald O’Shaughnessy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28th from 3 – 6 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Bill’s Funeral will be Monday, April 29th at 10 AM from Wilbraham Funeral Home to his Funeral Mass at  11 AM at St. Cecilia’s Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 1 PM at MA Veterans’ Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66677.
