IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas
Reavey
March 27, 1946 – February 22, 2026
Thomas Reavey, 79, of Wilbraham, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Tom was born on March 27, 1946 in Worcester, to the late Bernice Hobbs and Allan Reavey of Spencer, Massachusetts. After graduating from David Prouty High School, Tom became a medic in the United States Army Reserves, a role that sparked a lifelong connection to the medical field and led to a decades-long career in medical sales. Tom later made his home in Wilbraham, a town he deeply loved and proudly served. He was dedicated to his community, serving more than 20 years on the Wilbraham Conservation Commission and on various other town committees.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, gentle kindness, and the humor that could lighten any moment. He was the organizer of adventures, the quiet leader of family gatherings, and the one who made everyone feel welcome. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking in the White Mountains, and cherished time spent bringing family and friends together.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Debbie; his three devoted children, Tara Reavey and her husband Borden Johnson, Christopher Reavey, and Laureen Reavey and her husband Jonathan Sessions; his sister Joanne Bell; his grandchildren, Tommy and Vivian Reavey; three special friends, Winslow, Thatcher, and Wyland Sessions and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Tom was also predeceased by his brother, Charles Reavey.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Family and friends may gather for Tom’s Funeral Mass on Friday, March 6th at 11:00AM at St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. The family will receive guests in the Rotunda of the church from 10:00-11:00AM. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
