Thelma E. Emery

Thelma (Edgett) Emery, 95, died peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at JGS Lifecare in Longmeadow. Born in Ludlow to the late Percy and Leah Edgett, she has lived most of her life in Wilbraham. She was a graduate of Technical High School and attended American International College. She was the Director of Human Resources for Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co., retiring after 35 years of service. A longtime member of the former Church of the Epiphany in Wilbraham, she volunteered at Shriner’s Hospital for 24 years and was a member of Daughters of the Nile. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth E. Emery and her brother Ernest Edgett. Thelma’s Graveside Service will he held on Thursday, August 22 at 10:00 AM in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker St., Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 563 Carew St., Springfield, MA or to Christ the King-Epiphany Church, 758 Main St., Wilbraham, MA 01095.
