Obituary
Longtime Wilbraham resident Ted Gilfoy, 83, died peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham. He was a proud Air Force Veteran and active in the Air Force Reserves where he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He served as Commander of the Auxillary in 1971. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, boating and country music. His greatest pleasure was spending time with family and caring for his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Gail Glynn-Allen, sister Dawn Atwater, grandchildren; Bonnie Richmond-Etense and her husband Thomas Etense and Jason Richmond and his wife Sarah and great grandchildren; Thomas Patrick Etense and Sophia Marie Richmond. He was predeceased by his former wife Patricia K. Drummond. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 25th from 4-7pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Family and friends may meet for Ted’s Committal with Military Honors on Friday at 9am at MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
