Suzanne A. (LaRiviere) Blaser, 72, died peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2019. Born in Springfield to the late Arthur and Anita (James) LaRiviere, she was a longtime Wilbraham resident. She worked as a cashier for Stop & Shop for 28 years and was a communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church. Suzanne was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles A. Blaser in 2013. She is survived by her children Charles Blaser and his wife Liz of West Springfield, Bryan Blaser and his wife Tami of Wilbraham and Nichole Duquette and her husband Michael of Wilbraham, three brothers: Arthur LaRiviere of Wilbraham, Richard LaRiviere of South Carolina and Albert LaRiviere of Wilbraham, two sisters: Nancy Havard of Florida and Mary Dill of Belchertown, six grandchildren: Brittany, Adria, Anita, Samuel, Lilly, Bryana, one great grandson Mason, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Robert LaRiviere. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Family and friends may meet for Suzanne’s Funeral Service on Thursday at 2 PM at MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jimmy Fund, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
