Stephan R. Pannier

Stephan R. Pannier, 83, passed away Saturday April 23, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield on October 27, 1932, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Stephan) Pannier. Stephan was a graduate of the former Springfield Technical High School, served in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean War and lived in East Longmeadow for many years, moving to Wilbraham in 2007. Stephan retired as Vice President of Country Bank in 1992 after a 38 year banking career. He loved family vacations on Cape Cod. Stephan leaves his beloved wife of 62 years, Annie Elizabeth (Dail) Pannier, three children, Richard of Monson, Paul and his wife Tracy of Wilbraham and Michele Golon and her husband Joseph of Feeding Hills, one sister, Joan Langley and her husband Ken of Leverett, brother in law Hubert Russell of San Francisco, CA and his cherished grandchildren, Amy, Joseph, Kelsey, Jaime and Emily and one great grandson, Michael. He was predeceased by his sister Ruth Russell. Stephan�s Funeral Service will be held Friday at 10am from the Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
