Lifelong Wilbraham resident Sima (Setian) Pariseau, 56, left this earth tragically on June 16, 2024. Born in Springfield, she attended Wilbraham schools and was a 1986 graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School. She received an Associate’s Degree from Becker Junior College. Sima was a long-time employee of Baystate Medical Center as a Medical Coding Specialist and also a recent Coding Specialist at Massachusetts General Brigham Hospital. Sima was a devoted member of St. Gregory Armenian Church, where she served as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees. Sima was also a volunteer with the Hampden County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program, where she aided youth in the foster care system. Outside of her work, the church, and volunteering, you could find Sima and her enormous heart with her beloved children, Dylan and Sophie, her parents, or her close friends. Sima loved to travel and experience new places and things with Dylan and Sophie, often on an adventure together. Fellow Wilbraham residents knew Sima as the town walker, always walking up and down Main Street, often to get one of her favorite sweet treats, an ice cream at Rice’s Fruit Farm. The happiness of others was Sima’s main goal in life, even more so for her children and her parents. Sima was a loyal mother and daughter, a solid rock to her friends, and never hesitated to put everyone before herself. Sadly, Sima’s precious son, Dylan, was also tragically taken from us on June 16, 2024. Sima will be gravely missed by her cherished daughter, Sophie Pariseau, devoted parents, Harry and Elizabeth Setian, two dedicated brothers; Steven Setian and his wife, Lisa, and Peter Setian, loved brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Melissa Pariseau, nieces and nephews; Christopher Setian and his partner Meghan Millspaugh, Taylor Mayer and her husband Adam and their son Tyson, and Alison and Jacob Pariseau, and her former husband Mark Pariseau. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. A Funeral Service for Sima, and her son Dylan, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Church. Burial will be private. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sima’s name may be made to St. Gregory’s Armenian Church, 135 Goodwin St., Indian Orchard, MA 01151 or online at
