Lifelong Wilbraham resident Sigismund F. Glica, 89, died peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015. Born in Szczien, Poland to the late Jacob and Marcianne (Orchel) Glica, he was brought to the US as an infant. He graduated from Trade High School and worked as a machinist for National Aerospace Co. in Agawam for 40 years, then for United Engineers of Holyoke for 5 years. He was a longtime communicant Of Immaculate Conception Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years Nellie (Fido) Glica, sons Edward Glica and his wife Capitola of Holyoke and Martin Glica and his wife Ann Marie of Ludlow, daughters Susan Fitzgerald and her husband Brian of Palmer and Kathleen Rizzo and her husband William of Andover, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9th from 9:00 � 10:00 am at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Mass will follow at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Parish, 25 Parker St., Indian Orchard. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one�s choice.
