Sharon L. Bliss

Sharon L. Bliss, 74, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Born in Palmer, she was the oldest of nine children born to the late Arthur and Clara (Fuller) Richardson. Sharon worked as a Registration Specialist at Mass Mutual for many years until her retirement. Sharon was an avid gardener, loved her books, and was passionate about her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was also predeceased by her sister Martha Sisco. She will be sadly missed by her six devoted children and their spouses; Carrie Bergeron, and John & Tracy Bliss all of Uxbridge, MA, Beth & DJ Fryc of Upton, MA, Tammy Labrie of Douglas, MA, Jared & Karissa Bliss of Hopedale, MA and Joseph Martin of Suffield, CT, siblings and their spouses; Buddy & Dawn, Marcia & Bob, Robert & Pam, Roberta, Laura & Mike, Steven & Michelle, and Sheila, as well as 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, with one more on the way, and many nieces and nephews. Sharon’s Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 8th at 11 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Visitation will precede the Service from 9-11AM. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Monson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sharon’s name may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
