Ruth (Severy) Gardner

Ruth (Severy) Gardner, 91, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Wingate at Wilbraham Nursing Home. Born in Springfield, to the late William and Jane (Bacon) Severy, she graduated from Mills College in New York City. A Wilbraham resident since 1977, Ruth taught preschool at Trinity Nursery & Kindergarten for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Gardner in 2011. She will be sadly missed by her children; Carlton P. Gardner and his wife Cheryl, Mark W. Gardner and his wife Carol, Katherine Ruscio, Eric J. Gardner and his wife Kathleen and Kofi Boateng and family, eight granddaughters; Heather, Pam, Chelsea, Rachel, Julia, Karla, Jessica and Alison and three great grandchildren; Jessica, Daylyn and Michael. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 19th from 1:00 � 4:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
