Ronald C. Johnson

Lifelong East Longmeadow resident, Ronald C. Johnson 74, died peacefully with his family by his side, on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at home. Born in Springfield to the late Ronald and Eleanor (Sheridan) Johnson, he was a 1968 graduate of East Longmeadow High School and worked as a delivery driver for BellSimons and the Wall St. Journal.

Ronald was a member of the Meadows Masonic Lodge for 39 years and served proudly in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1975.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 44 years, Margaret (Ladda) Johnson, three step children; Eva Pelter and her husband Michael Pelter of East Longmeadow, Richard Parrott of East Longmeadow and Suzanne Belden and her husband Joseph Belden of Stafford Springs, CT. He had 4 grandchildren; Nicholas and Riley Pelter, Rikki-Ann Boudreau and her husband TJ Boudreau and Sydney Wade. He had one cherished great granddaughter Lydia Mae Boudreau. Ronald’s Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, December 5th at 3:00 PM at MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
