Ronald "Skip" J. Chiasson

Ronald �Skip� Joseph Chiasson, 73, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 8, 2017 at home. Ronald was born on May 20, 1943 in Gardner to the late Joseph and Mary (Boudreau) Chiasson. Skip grew up in Athol and later moved to Ludlow where he made his home. He was a graduate from New Salem Tech High School. He was an entrepreneur who owned many businesses including RCS Diesel in Ludlow. He was devoted to his family and loved his grandchildren. Skip has a great sense of humor and always had the perfect one liners. He loved to travel, and built a family home at St. Martin. He was a very caring and generous man and who mentored many. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Judith (Radzius) Chiasson, his son Ronald Chiasson and his wife Jeannette of Belchertown, and his daughter Nicky Lashgari and her husband Michael of Canton, CT. He was the caring brother to Rita Chiasson of Mirimichi, Canada. He was the cherished grandfather to Andrew, Chase, Ava, Elizabeth and Nina. He was predeceased by his brothers William Chiasson and Duane Chiasson. Calling hours for Skip will be Wednesday from 4PM-7PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Road, Wilbraham, followed by a Funeral Home Service at 7PM. Burial will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Skip�s memory to the Shriners Children�s Hosptial, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
