Obituary
Roger William Barbeau, 82, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at home with his family. A 52-year resident of Ludlow, MA, Roger was born in Salem, MA on February 26, 1938, the son of Henry and Joan (Courchesne) Barbeau. Roger was brought up and educated in Manchester, NH.

Roger served his Country in the US Navy, joining at age 17, from 1955 to 1959.

Roger worked for the Western Union Telegraph Co. for 16 years in many capacities but mostly doing office management and accounting work. In succession, Roger worked as a Manufacturer’s Representative for Siemens Corp., RCA Global and ended his full-time working career at the University of Massachusetts on a 6-year telecom project. Roger then became a school bus driver in Wilbraham, MA.

Roger is survived by his wife of 58 years and the love of his life Clarice (Courtemanche), his children Thomas (Lori), Joseph (Melissa), Theodore (Angelica) and Laura and her partner Leah Davis, brothers: Gerard and John Barbeau, sisters: Jacqueline Bienvenue and Sr. Colette Barbeau, Sister of Presentation of Mary, Manchester, NH and eight grandchildren: Christopher, Olivia, Drew, Blaise, Justis, Aubrey, Cesar and Lucia. Private calling hours will be held at Wilbraham Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to Roger’s Funeral Mass at St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham on Wednesday, December 23rd at 10:00 AM. A Committal Service will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist School, Hubbard Street, Ludlow, MA 01056.
