Rodney J. Yetts

Rodney John Yetts, 77, died peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2016, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Singapore to the late Edward and Alice (Dumaresq) Yetts, he was a graduate of Technical College in Birkenhead, England. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for General Electric in Lynn, MA for 36 years. Upon his retirement in 2006, he moved to Wilbraham where he was a faithful communicant of St. Cecilia�s Church. He loved reading, chess and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Valentine (Bonar) Yetts, two sons; Neil M. Yetts and his wife Mary of Salem, MA and Stuart A. Yetts and his wife Robyn of Palmer, and nine cherished grandchildren; Sarah, Caleb, Rachel, Andrew, Gavin, Jared, Marcus, Simon and Virginia. Rodney�s Funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 am from Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham to a Mass at 10:00 am at St. Cecilia�s Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ( http://www.jdrf.org ).
