Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of Roberta A. (Gobeille) Harper announces her passing on November 2, 2020 at the age of 85, with her loving family by her side.
Roberta was born in Palmer, MA to Bella and Georges Gobeille in April 1935. She graduated from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing, Worcester, MA and worked as a Registered Nurse, most recently until retirement, as an Infection Control Nurse at the Monson Developmental Center.
Bobbie, as she was known to family and friends, loved knitting, traveling, reading, cooking, and sharing her favorite recipes. She was the queen of trivia and crosswords and enjoyed being the host of many holidays and family gatherings. She was a caring, loving, gentle soul and will be immensely missed and never forgotten.
She was married to the love of her life and best friend, the late Gerald F. Harper, in 1958. She will be forever remembered by her four children Michelle Chisholm of Westfield, MA, Lisa White and husband Tom of Brookfield, CT, Erin Bartolucci and husband Dan of Coatesville, PA and Jeffrey Harper of Enfield, CT. Along with her nine grandchildren: Harper, Alyssa, Terrance, Courtney, Ian, Meghan, Alden, Cassandra, and Emma and five great grandchildren.
Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Road, is in charge of arrangements
