Obituary
Robert “Bob” L. Tassinari, 73, died peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield to the late Emilio and Lillian Tassinari, he was a longtime Wilbraham resident. Bob owned and operated Tassinari Brothers, Inc. in Ludlow for 45 years, with his late brother Jim, and retired 8 years ago. He was a generous family man known for his captivating laugh and willingness to always lend a helping hand. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Louisa (Smart) Tassinari, their two children; Karen and Brian Tassinari and his daughter in law Jenn Tassinari, two cherished grandchildren; Gabe and Lucas, and countless family and friends that he has touched with his gregarious personality. Bob’s Funeral Mass will be Monday, May 23rd at 12:00 Noon at St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. Visitation will precede the Mass from 9:30-11:30AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
