Robert Mee

Robert Mee, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025. Born in Springfield, he was one of 6 children born to the late Walter and Teresa (Caricari) Mee. A lifelong Springfield resident, he was a graduate of Commerce High School.

Robert was well known in the Springfield area as the owner and operator of Rob’s Quality Shoes for many years until his retirement. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his sisters; Beverly Sullivan, Delia Sypeck and Lorraine Vasquez. He will be dearly missed by his brothers; Walter Mee of East Longmeadow, David (Pat) Mee of Springfield and sister Sandra Vanotti of Agawam. Robert’s Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada St., Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.
