Robert R. Fontaine

Robert Roy Fontaine, 76, of Athol Street passed away Tuesday at home. He was born on December 13th, 1939 to the late Raymond and Ameila Fontaine. He grew up in South Hadley and graduated from South Hadley High School. He worked as a cook for many years at the Opportunity House in Springfield. He has been a friend of Bill W. for 35 yrs. He was the beloved father of Christian Fontaine and his wife Kathleen of Springfield, caring brother of Alice Koske of South Hadley, loving grandfather of Cody, Timothy, and Kayla Fontaine, Jeremy Gagnon and his wife Dianne of Springfield, and cherished great grandfather of Bella Stenta and Jeremy Gagnon II. Robert leaves several nieces and nephews and he was predeceased by his two brothers, Gerard and Rene Fontaine. All services are private and the burial will be at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations in Robert�s name may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
