Obituary
Robert W. Brown, 85, passed away April 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, November 16, 1935, the son of the late Leon and Jane (Lagacy) Brown. Bob was a graduate of Cathedral High School and American International College and was a proud US Marine Corps veteran during the Korean War. Bob worked at Mass Mutual retiring as the Senior Vice President of Pension Administration in 1996. He was a communicant of St. Cecilia Church and was a member of the Wilbraham Recreation Commission and coached baseball for many years. Bob was an avid golfer and member of the Orchards golf club where he recorded two holes-in-one. He leaves his beloved wife, Betty (Campbell) Brown, his loving daughter Donna M. Seabury and husband Lee Seabury of East Longmeadow and son Robert W. Brown Jr. and spouse Christine Plasse-Brown of Monson, his beloved sister, Jane Machado of Ludlow and sister-in-law Ann Brown of Springfield, his grandson Jason Brown and wife Krystyna (Davenport) Brown and great grandchildren Ezra, Delilah and Lillian Brown. In addition to his parents, Bob was also predeceased by his brother Donald Brown. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at the Mass Veterans Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “The Wounded Warrior Project,” PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516. Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham is in charge of arrangements.
