Richard G. Stolarik, 92, died peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Williston Park, Long Island, NY, he was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Richard was a salesman for Thompson Bakery Supplies in Springfield for many years until his retirement. An avid golfer, he enjoyed watching hockey, his beloved Yankees, and collecting World War II memorabilia. His most treasured memories are times spent with family and friends at their home at the Cape. Richard was predeceased by his beloved wife Eleanore (Adler) Stolarik in 2008 and his two brothers; John and Robert Stolarik. Richard is survived by his three devoted children; Richard Stolarik of Wilbraham, Ronald Stolarik and his wife Anne of Ft. Worth, TX and Kim Thibodeau and her husband Ed of East Longmeadow, eight cherished grandchildren; Sean, Jonathan, Ashley, Stephanie, Andrew, Kelsey, Amanda and Megan and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5th from 4-7PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Richard’s Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 6th at 10:00 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
