Richard N. Green, longtime Wilbraham resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015, at home. Born in Springfield to the late William and Edith (Ervine) Green, he graduated from Springfield Technical High School and American International College. A Navy Veteran of World War II, he, along with his late brother Kenneth, was the original owner of KEGCO and Mechanical Services plumbing and heating companies. He was a member of Newton Masonic Lodge in Wilbraham, Melha Shriners and was a past president of the Wilbraham Rotary Club. Devoted to his family, Dick will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 65 years Gladys (Boniewicz) Green, his three children; Allison Green of Cherry Hill, NJ, Stephen Green and his wife Elaine of Syracuse, NY and Lori Callahan and her husband David of Wilbraham, nine cherished grandchildren; Natalie, Harry, Charlie and Christian Green, Jack, Lilly and Bridget Callahan and Grace and Garrett Barnard. He was predeceased by his son Richard Jeffrey Green and his four brothers; Vernon, Donald, Kenneth and Robert. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Tuesday, March 10th at 11:00 am at St. Michael�s Cemetery. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
