Obituary
Richard J. Goodreau, 61, passed away Sunday October 18, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, July 9, 1959, the son of the late Richard and Cosette (Garneau) Goodreau. Richard was a graduate of Ludlow High School where he played hockey. He worked for Doncasters/Storms Forge for several years, loved camping in the Poconos, NASCAR and vacationing in Cape Cod with his family. He also loved spending every Saturday with his sister Tracy and her husband enjoying her delicious cooking. He leaves his loving children, Sara (Goodreau) Dieters of Springfield, Kyle Goodreau of Springfield and Sere’ Goodreau of Ludlow, his devoted sister, Tracy Merrill and her husband Lon Kalesnik of Palmer; sister Michelle Clifford and her partner Rita Schiano of West Warren and was predeceased by his sister, Lisa Bolek. A Funeral Home Service will be held Saturday October 24 at 11am from the Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. A calling hour will precede the service from 9-11am. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Rd., Suite 301, Framingham, MA 01701 or online at www.lung.org .
