Obituary
Raymond M. LaVallee, 82, died peacefully on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Winthrop, MA to the late Melvin and Lenna (Peckham) LaVallee, he grew up in Stoneham, MA. Raymond served his country proudly in the Air Force, and while stationed in Germany, he met the love of his life, Anna Maria Krein. They were married in Sohren, Germany on September 11, 1961. Ray built and ran Ray’s Mobile Home Park in Monson and Richaven Cottages in Laconia, NH. Ray was a faithful communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church in Wilbraham, a member of the Ludlow Elks and an honorary member of the Hampden County Sherrif’s Dept. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Anna Maria “Mary Ann” LaVallee, their children; Harold LaVallee and his wife Judith of Somers, CT, Deborah Lowe and her husband Dwight of Belchertown and Patricia LaVallee of Windsor, CT, his sister Lorraine Broadbent of Wilbraham, and four grandchildren; Trevor and Katarina Lowe and Nicolaus and Nathan LaVallee. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Ray’s Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home followed by a Committal Service with Military Honors at MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
