Obituary
On October 16, 1925, Quinto Joseph Tesini arrived on earth. He was the fifth child of Clemente and Cecelia Tesini. His parents, his brothers, Joseph and Albert Tesini and his sister Lena B Allard, who he cherished above all, have passed. During his 93 years, Quinto graduated from Putnam High School and formed Anchor Electric Motor Repair with his high school teacher and two other partners that they operated for many years. After selling the company, he returned to the company and worked for several more years. Retiring from the company, Quinto and his nephew, Roger, spent many years fishing and hunting. At age 70, Quinto took up tennis and became an excellent elder player who helped establish the Springfield Tennis Club and could be found playing on the clay courts at Forest Park almost every summer day. While Quinto never married, he became like a brother/father figure to his two nephews, Kenneth L and Roger D Allard whom he lived with while they grew into a fine engineer and a certified public accountant. Quinto, like many other Baystaters, became an ardent Red Sox fan. In his later years, Quinto resided at Ruth's House where he received great care and was a well- loved resident. Quinto has several nephews and nieces who even at his age he could name and grand nieces, one of which, Cindy, he always kept close watch and marveled at her independence.

Quinto requested a simple service. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 10:00–11:00 am at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:30am at Saint Michael's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Quinto's name can be made to The Jimmy Fund, a Red Sox selected charity, at P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
