Paul R. Cooke

Paul Roger Cooke, 91, died peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, at home. Born in Springfield to the late Freeland and Helen (Meissner) Cooke, he was a longtime East Longmeadow resident. Paul was a sheet metal worker for Kleeberg Sheet Metal Co. for many years until his retirement and was a member of Union Local #63. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jean Cooke in 2011. He is survived by his three sons; David Cooke (Debbie), Thomas Cooke (Jennifer) and Gary Cooke (Jennifer Ryan), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Paul’s family would like to sincerely thank Baystate Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
