Paul A. Bouchard, Jr.

Lifelong Wilbraham resident Paul A. Bouchard, Jr., 70, died peacefully on October 11, 2015 at the Holyoke Soldiers� Home. Born in Springfield to the late Paul A. and Julia (Irhig) Bouchard, he was an Air Force Veteran. He received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from STCC and attended the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. He served as Captain and Acting Chief for the Wilbraham Police Department, retiring in 1998, after 32 years of service. Paul was also owner of Bouchard Welding. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed sharing his passion for the outdoors with others. He will be sadly missed by his wife Lisa (Cormier) Bouchard, four children; Michelle Bouchard of Wilbraham, Robert Bouchard and his wife Krista of Hampden, Paul Bouchard, III of Wilbraham and step-daughter Michelle Corriveau Taylor and her husband Stephen of Hampden, son in law Mark Theocles of Wilbraham, brothers; Richard Bouchard of Wilbraham and Donald Bouchard of Hampden and three grandchildren; Meghan and Nicholas Bouchard and Zoe Theocles. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th from 3:00 � 7:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holyoke Soldiers� Home, 110 Cherry St., Holyoke, MA 01040 or NRA, Youth Education Endowment, 11250 Waples Mill Rd., Fairfax, VA 22030.
