Patricia A. Stoeber

Patricia A. Stoeber (Ferris), died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 11th, 2024 at the age of 86. Patricia, or Patty to those who knew her, was born on September 1st, 1938 in Springfield, MA, to the late Clyde E. Ferris and Amelia C. Ferris (Trotta). While attending AIC, she met her soon to be husband and love of her life, Jerry, who she was lovingly married to for 67 years. They enjoyed traveling the world, gardening, and simply being together. After her daughter’s were grown, she began a career at Monarch Life Insurance Company and Western New England Law Review until retirement. Patty was most passionate about her family and kitchen, hosting all family holidays and birthdays, always welcoming family with a big smile and an even bigger hug. She took pride in her garden and loved being with her friends while at the Wilbraham Garden Club and Flower Arrangers. A talented seamstress, Patty loved to create special memories for her loved ones with her sewing and quilting. She was predeceased by her husband Jerald C. Stoeber (2022) and daughters Susan M. Ryan and Lynn A. Midghall. She is survived by daughter Joanna Stoeber, grandchildren, Matthew Ryan and fiance Jessica Valenta, Maura Ryan, Nicholas St. Pierre and his wife Emma St.Pierre, and Brandon Casey, and great-grandson Benjamin St. Pierre. The family would like to give special thanks to Margaret Drobiak and Elaina Varady for their support, kindness, and companionship to Patty. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16th from 4-6PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Family and friends may meet for Patty’s Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 17th at 11AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Parish, 395 Chestnut St., Springfield, MA 01104.
