It is with Great sadness that we announce the passing of Olga Dora Von Flatern {Tetreault} on January 26, 2025, at the age of 89. She passed peacefully at her home in Florida with family. Olga was born on February 21, 1935, in Warren, Massachusetts, where she was raised and graduated from Cathedral High school. She fell in love and married Ronald C. Von Flatern in 1956, who has preceded her in death. A longtime resident of Wilbraham, Olga completed her EMT schooling that led her to become the first Wilbraham Volunteer Firefighter. She was incredibly involved in her community with local activities and outreach such as starting the Suburban League Cheerleading Squad, active member of the Snowmobile, BMW and Minibike clubs. Many may remember our “Mimi,” as she spent decades influencing the community with her many talents at Rice Fruit Farm, such as working in the orchard, baking pies, and making maple syrup. Mimi loved and appreciated the outdoors and nature; from hunting, trapping, riding quads and traveling. She was also a Eucharistic Minister at Saint Cecilia Church. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, who will miss her dearly. She leaves behind a brother Joseph Tetreault and wife Clara. Preceded in death by brother Edward Tetreault and surviving wife Jeanette, preceded by brother William Tetreault and surviving wife Linda, preceded by brother Richard Tetreault and surviving wife Beverly. She will always be remembered with much love by her 5 children; Ronald C. Von Flatern Jr. and wife Mary, Debra Purdy and husband Bob, Susan Granahan and husband Daniel, Sharon Allen, and Neil Von Flatern and wife Gina. Her 13 beloved grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren with 3 on the way, and 3 great great grandchildren. Her passion, generosity and involvement with the community will be fondly remembered. She is now resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
Her family will forever miss that Beautiful smile.
