Nancy (Keller) Nieske, 95, passed away Monday at Loomis Lakeside in Springfield. She was born in Springfield on March 6, 1929, to the late Florence (Kinney) and Eugene Keller. She was a homemaker most of her life, and also worked in Wilbraham, MA as a secretary in the dental office of her husband, Dr. George H. Nieske, DDS. She was a longtime member of the Wilbraham United Church. Nancy also was a Trustee of the Old Meeting House Museum in Wilbraham and served as their main gardener for over 15 years. She was a docent at the Springfield Museums for years and had a great love of reading. She was the beloved wife of Dr. George H. Nieske, DDS, who passed away in 2019; loving mother of David Nieske of Rocky Hill, CT, Robert Nieske and his partner Laurel Smith of Waltham, MA, and Craig Nieske of Charlotte, NC; devoted grandmother of Laura Nieske, Noelle Nieske and Nicholas Cutler. Nancy also leaves her sister-in-law Marjorie Agerton of Wilbraham and brother-in-law Frederick Nieske of Indianapolis, IN. All services are private, and Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
