Obituary
Mary (Reilly) Imelio 91, passed away peacefully on June 11th at East Village Place in East Longmeadow, Ma.  Born in Springfield to the late Mortimer and Bridie (Sheehan) Reilly, she was a lifelong Springfield resident.  She was an Engineer at New England Telephone and after raising her children she was a retail sales associate at Steigers, Cherry & Webb, Lord & Taylor and American Greetings.  Mary was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Springfield Ma.

In her later years she loved to travel with her husband but never wanted to be away from her grandchildren for very long.

Mary is predeceased by her husband Peter (2013) and her two brothers James and John. She is survived by her two sons Michael Imelio and his wife Cathy of Granby, Joseph Imelio and his wife Donna of East Longmeadow. , three daughters Maryanne Morris and her husband Jim of Hampden, Christine Kravitz and her husband Steve of Florida and Nancy Hunt and her husband Jeff of Wilbraham.  She is survived by her two brothers Thomas Reilly of Cape Cod and Bobby Reilly of Texas and one sister Eleanor O’Connell of Springfield.  Twelve beloved grandchildren; Abigail, Casey, Griffin and Tanner Imelio.  Elizabeth and Ryan Imelio; Alex and Brittany Morris; Megan Lanouette and Jon Kravitz and Andrew and Stephen Hunt and her great children Natalie, Skylar,  Austin  and Levi. The family would like to thank that staff at East Village Place in East Longmeadow for the wonderful care that they provided during her stay.

Mary’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 1900 Allen St., Springfield. Visitation will precede the Mass from 8:30 – 10:00 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Mary will be laid to rest with her husband at MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
