Mary Jane (O'Neill) Doyle

Obituary
Mary J. Doyle, 78, passed away Sept 24, 2022. She was born June 2, 1944 to the late William and Hanora O’Neill. Mary attended the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of their alumni association. She worked for many years at Mercy Hospital and the American Red Cross as a registered nurse. A longtime resident of Wilbraham, she was a communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church, a member of their spiritual group, altar society and prayer shawl ministry. Mary enjoyed going boating and her many trips to Cape Cod with her husband Tom. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Mary leaves her loving husband Thomas J. Doyle, her daughter Catherine St. Laurent and her husband Mark of Feeding Hills and her son Christopher Doyle and his wife Kathleen of Wilb., her grandchildren; Matthew St. Laurent, Cailyn, Norah, Liam and Keeley Doyle, her step granddaughter Krystle and three great grandchildren.  She also leaves her sisters; Nancy O’Neill of E. Longmeadow., Catherine Lamoureux (Edward) of Hampden, Shelia O’Neill of Spfld, her brother-in-law Robert Doyle (Ellen) of Florida, her goddaughter Elizabeth Taskovska along with several nieces and nephews and many friends.  Mary was predeceased by her son Thomas J. Doyle Jr.  A Memorial Mass will be held FRIDAY 9:30 AM in St. Cecilia’s Church, Main St., Wilb. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, 1601 State St., Spfld. Calling Hours will be held THURS from 4 to 7 PM at the WILBRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 2551 BOSTON RD., WILB. Due to health concerns within the family, it has been requested to PLEASE OMIT ordering any flowers and wearing any perfume or cologne.
