Obituary
Mary Marjorie (Dyer) Cobb, 80 passed away Friday October 16, 2020 at Vero of Hampden. Born in Springfield, August 31, 1940, the daughter of the late Michael and Dorothea (Yumes) Dyer. She was raised, educated and spent all of her life in Longmeadow. Mary worked for the Worcester Federal Savings Bank and the Bank of America. She was a faithful communicant of St Mary’s Church in Longmeadow and was an avid Red Sox fan. Her beloved husband, Bruce Cobb, died in 1985. Mary leaves her beloved siblings, Paul Dyer of Nantucket, Dennis Dyer of Longmeadow and Sharon Dyer of Hanover and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Michael Dyer, Jr. Mary’s Funeral Mass will be held Thursday October 22, 2020 at St. Mary’s Church, 509 Longmeadow St., Longmeadow at 11:45am with burial to follow in Longmeadow Cemetery. A calling hour will be held, prior to the Mass, from 10-11am at the Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA. 01104.
