Marjorie Anne Kenney, 94, died peacefully on July 16, 2026. Born in Springfield, MA to the late Robert and Edith (Askerberg) Allan, she was a lifelong Springfield resident, until moving to SC later in life to be near family. A graduate of Springfield’s High School of Commerce, Marjorie worked at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co. as a secretary and Administrative Assistance for 30 years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Foster Memorial Church and was a member of the Fosterians and Church Women United for many years. Marjorie enjoyed going to the Senior Centers in Massachusetts and South Carolina. She also enjoyed doing many different crafts. Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert N. Kenney. She is survived by her daughter Evelyn Bayton of Fountain Inn, SC, son Robert Kenney of Belchertown, sister Elizabeth Ford of Winter Haven FL and grandson Thomas Bayton II. Marjorie’s Graveside Service will take place on Tuesday, August 11th at 11:00 AM in Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
