Marjorie G. (Greenaway) Nothacker

Obituary
Marjorie G. Nothacker passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the age of 95.  She was born on July 2, 1922 in Springfield, the daughter of Robert John and Lila Mae (Miller) Greenaway.  A graduate of Commerce High School, she worked at Forbes and Wallace department store and the Springfield City Clerk’s office prior to her marriage in 1943 to Robert W. Nothacker.

Marge was a member of Foster Memorial Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and served as a volunteer at Shriners Hospital.  She was a devoted homemaker, an avid gardener and gifted china painter.  In her later years she loved playing golf with friends at Wilbraham Country Club where she was a member.

Marge was predeceased by her husband Robert and her daughter Joyce (James) Robinson.  She is survived by her daughters Susan (Roger) Cloutier and Judy Balicki; grandsons Todd (Karen) Cloutier, Toby (Erika) Cloutier, Jeffrey (Christa) Robinson, Jason Robinson, Robert (Carolyn) Balicki and Gregory Balicki.  She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren Dakota, Sam, Jessica, Jack, Jordan, Abigail, Emma, Cameron, Joe, Max, Luke and Ben.

A private memorial service is planned for a later date.  Those who desire may make donations in Marge’s memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
