Obituary
Marjorie E Boober, 96 passed peacefully on 8/3/22. She was born in Holden MA to Lesley (Spevey) Vinck and Newell Boober. During her life Maggie was an associate member of the Sisters of Providence. She left the convent to serve her community and became an Activities Director in a local nursing home. Maggie (as known by all her friends) was a member of St Celica Church. Margie (as known by her family) was full of life and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to play games and cards with her friends. Margie never failed to have a Margarita when she went out to lunch with family. The family would like to thank Care One at Millbury especially the Shrewsbury Unit Staff for the great care they gave Margie. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 9 at St. Cecilia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery of Sisters of Providence. An hour of visitation will precede the Mass from 9:30–10:30AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to St Cecelia Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham, MA 01095 or to the Activities Fund at Care One at Millbury, 312 Millbury Ave, Millbury MA 01527.
