Marion L. Lasorsa

Marion L. (Franklin) Lasorsa, 89, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at home with her children by her side. She was born in Springfield to the late Earl and Marjorie (Farnsworth) Franklin. She was married to Domenick Lasorsa for 40 years until his untimely death at age 58. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and was especially grateful that she got to spend some time with her great-grandchildren.
Marion was also predeceased by her cherished granddaughter Leah Gentile. She is survived by her three devoted children; Linda Lasorsa and her life companion Phil Mercier, Domenick Lasorsa, Jr. and wife Colleen and Franklin Lasorsa and wife Bonnie, seven grandchildren: Anthony (Alex), Melissa (Andrew), Kathleen (Gio), Caroline, Thomas (Arielle), Domenick (Brittany) and Baylen (Samantha) and 3 great grandchildren; Oliver, Christopher and Dahlia.
The family would like to extend thanks and appreciation to Eileen from Baystate Palliative Care, Josephine from Associated Home Care and the Holyoke VNA and Hospice Life Care for their outstanding support and care during this difficult journey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18th from 9AM until 10:30 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Marion’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11AM at St. Cecilia Church. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics of MA, 512 Forest St., Marlborough, MA 01752.
