Marie (Mitchell) Kosinski

Marie (Mitchell) Kosinski. 91, died peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA to the late John Mitchell and Helen (Smith) Mitchell, she was a longtime Wilbraham resident. Marie worked for many years at MassMutual Insurance Company until her retirement. She was dedicated to her family, always there for those who needed her. Marie was a strong advocate for good education, encouraging her children and grandchildren to pursue their highest goals. She enjoyed cooking and homemaking and loved her neighborhood. She was predeceased by her husband Edward A. Kosinski in 2010. She is survived by her two sons Dr. Edward J. Kosinski and his wife Dr. Deborah Mayer of Weston, CT and Dr. Richard J. Kosinski and his wife Dr. Katharine S. Kosinski of Cambridge, MA, five grandchildren, Eric Kosinski and his wife Sonja McNeir, Alison Kosinski and her husband Andy Gayton, Daniel Kosinski and his wife Dr. Kathryn Conley, Julia Kosinski and her husband Saul Cardenas, and Benjamin Kosinski, and one great grandchild, Peyton Kosinski. Marie�s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 27th at 1:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in St. Michael�s Cemetery, Springfield. An hour of visitation will precede the service from 12 Noon � 1:00 pm.
