Margarita Rosa

Margarita Rosa, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Elaine Center of Hadley. Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Luis and Esperanza Santana, she was one of their 12 children. She worked as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing for many years.

Once her first son was born, the family of three moved from Puerto Rico to Massachusetts. They went on to have two more sons here. She dedicated her life to raising her boys into the strong, independent and wonderful partners, husbands and fathers they are today. Margarita found a community and built lasting friendships within the Jehova Witness Kingdom Hall and was a devoted Christian until the day she departed.

Margarita is survived by her beloved husband Michael Rosa of Northampton, their three sons; Paul Rosa and his wife Megan of Amherst, Michael C. Rosa and his partner Holly Laureano of Greenfield and Luis J. Rosa and his wife Teranie of Andover, MA and 8 cherished grandchildren; Anthony, Justin, Aaliyah, Mia, Viviana, Eli, Luis and Valentino. Margarita’s Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
