Margaret "Peggy" Reed

Margaret “Peggy” (Everett) Reed, 67, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, she was daughter of the late Herbert and Catherine (Matison) Everett, Sr. Peggy worked for Eversource for over 40 years until her retirement. An avid shopper, Peggy loved disco music,dancing and spending time at the beach with her family. She will be forever missed by her best friend and daughter Katrina Dean and her husband Jonathan and her cherished granddaughter Ashlynn Grace Dean. Peggy’s greatest joy in life was becoming “Grammy P” and spending her retirement with Ashlynn. Peggy is also survived by her twin brother George Everett of Feeding Hills, brother William Everett and his wife Carrie of Warrenton, VA and her nieces and nephews; Darcy Friscia and her husband Nicholas of Belchertown, Ryan Rooney and his wife Sara of South Hadley, Jeff Everett and his wife Heather of Greenfield, Scott Everett and his wife Liz of Waco, TX ,Brandy Haley and her husband Michael of Warrenton, VA, Stephanie Everett of Agawam, Ma and Danielle Puzo of Bradenton, FL. In addition to her parents, Peggy was also predeceased by her sister Hilda Rooney.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 5-7PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. A private burial will take place in Hillcrest Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
