Luigi "Joe" Pietroniro

Luigi �Joe� Pietroniro, 62, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at home. Born in Campobasso, Italy, he worked as a machinist for many years. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Villamaino) Pietroniro of Springfield, daughter Lina Pietroniro and her partner Joseph Caporiccio of Vernon, CT, his mother Maria (Strippa) Malacria of Springfield, two brothers; Vincent and John Pietroniro, both of Feeding Hills, sister Josephine DeSousa of Ludlow and several nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his father Giovanni Pietroniro. Joe�s family would like to thank the Springfield Turnverein Club who welcomed him into their Karaoke family and to Mr. Izzo of the 1220 Band who allowed him to sing with them, and special thanks Eunice from Baystate Hospice. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26th from 2:00 � 5:00pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Funeral will be Monday at 9:30 am from Wilbraham Funeral Home followed by a Chapel Service at 11:00 am in Most Holy Redeemer Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
