Louis Saso

Louis F. Saso, 61, of Wilbraham, MA, passed away on April 3rd, 2023. He was born on December 29th, 1961, in Springfield, Massachusetts. He graduated from Enrico Fermi High School and continued schooling at Asnuntuck Community College. He went on in life to do architectural landscaping, roofing, and later in life started his own Home Improvement business, L.S. Home Improvement.
Lou’s pride and joy was his family. He married the love of his life, Kimberley, in 1992. His favorite days were spent at the family camp in Fitzwilliam, NH, where he passed on his learned love of fishing from his father to his children and grandchildren. Hanging out at the campfire, playing cards and board games, and setting off fireworks created lasting family memories.
He was a devoted father who enjoyed coaching his children’s baseball and basketball teams. He was the family’s personal weatherman and had a knack for being outside in the worst of storms even when he shouldn’t be. The outdoors was where he loved to be, whether it be hunting with his father and Uncle Jim, camping with his kids, working in the garden, mowing the lawn, or staring at the stars on the front porch.
Lou is survived by his wife Kimberley; his children Stephen, Louis, and Lauren; his two grandchildren Stephen and Bryson; his sister Diane and her husband Peter Bellon from Enfield, CT; his sister Lynn Saso McNutt from Springfield, MA; along with cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Louis and Jean Saso of Enfield, CT.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday April 7th, 2023, from 4pm to 6pm at the Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd, Wilbraham MA, 01095. The burial will be held on Thursday April 13th, 2023, at 1pm at the Woodland Dell Cemetery, Wilbraham MA, 01095.
