Louis Arborio

February 28, 1926 — October 24, 2017

Longtime East Longmeadow resident Louis F. Arborio, 91, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Born in Springfield to the late Antonio and Mary (Bellotti) Arborio, he was a proud Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. Lou was an electrician with Collins Electric for 45 years until his retirement. He also worked at the Eastern States Exposition and was a faithful communicant of St. Michael�s Church in East Longmeadow. Lou was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara P. (Burke) Stewart Arborio in 2015. He is survived by his sister Elvira Pandolfi, two step daughters; Patty Stewart Brent and her husband Duffy and Kathy Stewart, three nieces; Madelyn Anderson, Ann Pandolfi and Theresa (Ron) Remillard, two nephews; Michael (Michelle) and Joseph (Nancy-Jo) Pandolfi, and their families. Visitation will be held Friday from 9-10:30 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Michael�s Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow. Burial will follow in St. Michael�s Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104, Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, 103 Vision Way, Bloomfield, CT 06002 or to St. Jude�s Children�s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
