Obituary
Loredan (Larry) Francis St Cyr, Jr, 92, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Born in Springfield, Larry was a graduate of American International College where he earned a degree in Business in 1949. He worked for Monarch Life Insurance Co. as a Senior Underwriter of Health & Accident Insurance for many years until his retirement. A member of AA for 48 years, Larry fully invested himself by helping and supporting his peers through mentorship. He is son of Loredan F. St Cyr, Sr and Marie Esther St Cyr. He was predeceased by his wife Georgia (Woodfin) St Cyr. He is survived by his sister Marian J. Wright of Springfield, stepson Rick Clark of Fort Myers, FL and his nephews, Daniel Wright of Deland, FL, John Wright of Knoxville, TN and Timothy Wright of Westborough, MA. Larry’s Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 3rd at 11:00 AM in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker St., Springfield. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to one of four charities – The Shriners Hospitals for Children, The Springfield Rescue Mission, The Salvation Army and/or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
