Lois (Bulger) Costa

Lois (Bulger) Costa, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at home. Born in Rumford, ME to the late Edward and Mary (Lawler) Bulger, she graduated from the former Emerson Court Reporting School in Boston. Lois worked as an Official Court Stenographer for the Commonwealth of MA for 31 years until her retirement in 2009. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Costa of Longmeadow, stepson Timothy Costa, stepdaughter Pamela McCarthy, six brothers; Thomas Bulger of NY, James, Robert, Harry and Edward Bulger, all of ME, and Joel Bulger of CT, one sister Jean Miller of CT, four grandchildren; Steven and Eric Stout and Cole and Brooke Costa and two great grandchildren; Logan and Silas Stout. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 3:00 pm at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1 Porter Rd., East Longmeadow. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
